This is the only surviving house from the set of this 1962 classic. Originally all the houses were purchased from the developers of Dodgers Stadium where they were to be demolished. The properties were then re-constructed on the Universal backlot, however Boo Radleys house is the only one that remains and that has moved location since the film was produced.
The original name for the area of the Universal Studios backlot currently known as Courthouse Square was Mockingbird Square which was used in To Kill a Mockingbird (1962). The clocktower element was added in in 80's for Back to the Future (1985) which is when it was re-named.
Colusa, California's historic courthouse was used for the exterior shots when the children are sneaking in to see Atticus at work.
