The theatre seen in The Player, where Griffin Mill murders David Kahane. Also seen in the opening of SCREAM 2.
The famous 8 minute opening tracking shot was filmed on the lot of Hollywood Center Studios. It was owned by Francis Ford Coppolla at the time and was called American Zoetrope Studios. The lot has changed a lot since The Player was filmed but Stage 9 (where the big sign reading 'Movies, Now More Than Ever' is placed) is still there (though now it reads 'Hollywood Center Studios')
