Temple Church was used for some iconic scenes in the movie.
Built around the same time as Westminster Abbey, Lincoln Cathedral stands in as a tourist-free location used in The Da Vinci Code. Even Sir Isaac Newton's tomb was re-created at Lincoln.
The crew were given the unique opportunity to film some of the key scenes in the actual Louvre, watched over by Da Vinci's Mona Lisa.
