Bruce's apartment (third from the right) is located on the Universal backlot and yes, that is Hill Valley town square from Back To The Future in the background of the photo. Sadly this section of the Universal Studios backlot was destoryed in a fire on 1st June 2008.

This is where the gushing fire hydrant seen in the movie was located. It's also the scene where Bruce blows up a woman's dress. This area was also destroyed during the 2008 fire.

The diner set was located here (the same spot as the gas station in Back to the Future (1985)) It's in this diner that Bruce tests his devine powers on a bowl of soup.

The blood drive at the end of the movie was filmed in Courthouse Square on the Universal lot and the courthouse building from Back to the Future (1985) can be clearly seen in the background. It can be seen in other scenes too with a digitally enhanced skyline of high-rise buildings.
